Poplar Middle School enrolls students in grade five through eight. It provides science, math, social studies, language arts, reading, and health and physical education classes. The school offers guidance counseling services, as well as extended-day care programs. It conducts several fundraising activities and parent-teacher conferences. Poplar Middle School operates a student council and provides extracurricular activities, such as band, choir, volleyball, basketball, cross-country, wrestling, and track and field. It has a cafeteria and library that includes various books, magazines and periodicals. The school offers special education services to gifted and talented students and operates breakfast and art clubs. Located in Poplar, Mont., Poplar Middle School is governed by Poplar Public Schools, which also operates an elementary and high school.
