Meet Drs. Donald & Russell Taylor The caring dentists of Taylor Dental Care use the most advanced materials & procedures available. They practice comfortable & conservative dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each patient. In addition to their technical excellence, the doctors are careful listeners & will explain your treatment options & help you decide what is best for your individual needs. Dr. Donald Taylor earned his bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary. He then completed his doctorate of dental surgery from the Medical College of Virginia in 1979, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He has advanced his skills through years of clinical experience as well as advanced courses in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, sedation & implants. Dr. Donald is an active member of the American Dental Association. In his free time, he enjoys service projects with Kiwanis, photography, caring for animals & spending time with his grandchildren, Fenton, Tristan & Kevin. Dr. Russell Taylor, a Poquoson local, earned his bachelor’s from the College of William & Mary, then graduated at the top of his class from the Medical College of Virginia in 2006. Afterwards, he undertook an externship in oral surgery at the Hampton VA Medical Center & later implant surgery training at the University of North Carolina. He has also trained in cosmetic dentistry & enjoys rebuilding beautiful smiles. In his free time he enjoys sailing, fishing & spending time outside or on the water with his family.
