International Piping Systems fabricates carbon and alloy piping systems for the petrochemical, chemical, power generation, energy and utility industries. Founded in 1983, the company is the first pipe fabrication facility in the United States to integrate computer aided equipment and technology with conventional fabrication techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of pipe spool production. Located in Port Allen, La., it operates full service pipe fabrication and bending facilities with a total of 270,500 square feet of fabrication space and a production capacity of 6,500 pipe spools per month. IPS is a subsidiary of Turner Industries, a Baton Rouge, La.-based contractor with multiple divisions of industrial entities.
