I used Laurel Dental for the past 5 years, after moving to the area. I have little dentist interaction other than 6-month cleanings, as my teeth are healthy. But I began to notice the back of my bottom teeth turning brown and feeling "rough." It worsened over these 5 years. I suspected tartar and staining, but the hygienists said it was due to "aging" and there was "nothing they could do." I finally transferred my records to a highly regarded dental office in the area and had my routine cleaning today. They removed all the tartar---my teeth are white again. My new hygienist was appalled and said this was one of the first things you learn how to do. Laurel Dental was always more expensive than other options but claimed they had advanced equipment and so forth. I regret paying inflated prices for inferior care.
