The disadvantage of a garbage service company having a monopoly is that they have no incentive to treat the customer fairly. I have been having my trash picked up monthly because I have little income due to an injury. The 96 gallon cans do not easily empty completely, and I have avoided putting things at the bottom that stick. I called to complain again about the can not emptying and was told to upgrade to once every two week service or I would be charged to pick up the extra trash . . . Olympic Disposal, listen up: if the cans do not empty properly, it is your companies problem, and you probably should not issue those cans. Poor customer service!
