Provided by YP.comDr V saved my pugs eye and when my peekapoo collapsed in heart failure he knew exactly what to do. Had it not been for him I would not have had the last 11 mos I have had with her. He treats the furkids like they are his own. So happy I found him as I had gone through 4 vets before finally finding him 8 yrs ago.

Provided by YP.comSad excuse for a vet they ordered expensive tests without a exam. I paid my bill in full ordered a antibiotic The office manager Kim peeler was the most unprofessional office manager I asked her to bill me for the antibiotic she said no I said my cats still sick she said your stealing and followed me to my car. Poor excuse for a vet what happened to customer service.

Provided by YPmobileI love this vet! We have a dog, 3 cats, several parrots, an iguana and a pig That has been seen by Dr. Villarreal. The staff is always friendly and treats our babies like family. The office is beautiful and very clean. The prices are very reasonable. We have a cat with a heart murmur and the Dr. did one test at a time to keep the cost down by not running any unnecessary testing. Which is a big deal to me because I have to keep cost down since I have so many babies. Dr. Villarreal always takes the time to answer all my questions and jokes around with us. I just can't say enough about how great they are there. I am so grateful I found such a caring vet. I highly recommend them to anyone who loves their babies as much as I do.

Dr. Villareal and his staff have cared for my nine birds for the past 4 years. His staff is efficient, caring and kind. My re-homed budgies and parrot get the best of care; I don't know what I would do without Collingswood!

Provided by YP.comBrought my dog in for what I suspected was a hematoma. The Dr Adrianna Ribas assured me it was nothing. 4 weeks later my dog has developed a huge hematoma in the same spot I brought her in for earlier! I expressed my disappointment in them sending me away the last time I was there & now they want to charge me $700 to fix what should have been taken care of the first time before it got out of control. Then Dr. Alexander Villarreal was completely rude & disrespectful to me. Saying that's not what we brought her in for last time (THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON WE BROUGHT HER IN!) Asking if I was a vet & just being a complete jerk to me because of their mistake. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN & HOPE YOU HEED MY WARNING! These so called Dr's over there have no idea whats going on & can't admit when they are wrong. They care more about taking you money than caring for your pet.

Provided by YP.comMyself, husband, mother and 5 dogs moved here from Clearwater, Florida at the beginning of this year. I had the same vet for over 35 years and finding a new veterinarian clinic was the most stressful.
I liked the outward appearance of the facility and the extremely accomodating, friendly staff. I received excellent care by Dr. Barnes, his incredibly efficient and well trained vet techs, along with the people working the front desk.
In my opinion the pricing is excellent and extremely reasonable. My dogs were updated with vaccines and one needed a dental with an extraction. I was truly happy the way my dog was taken care of while at the clinic and the follow up phone call to check on his progress once he was home.
I feel I have found the vet clinic I was so desperately hoping to find!

Provided by YP.comIt's a clean facility but they are expensive. For boarding they require alot of shots and the nightly charge is high. Nevertheless, We took our dogs there for about 3 years, until our recent issue. We boarded the dogs for 8 days and they both came back with bordatella or something just as bad. (even though vaccinated) We brought them back and the vet wasn't willing to actually test for bordatella but instead wanted us to pay $43 for antibiotics to treat bordatella. HUH? To me, they should have just absorbed the $43, kept the customer and moved on. They REFUSED! Keep in mind their cost is probably $20. To lose a customer that has paid you over $1500 over $20 is just bad service. Bye bye Collingswood. Remember, friendly smiles doesn't always mean friendly service.
Dear Mr. and Mrs. L. - I am sorry that you were upset over your pets becoming ill after boarding at our facility. We do our very best to keep our pets protected against contagious infections, which is why we "require a lot of shots". Your pets health is always our main concern which is why after you addressed your concern with a manager, not the receptionists, we did absorb the cost of the antibiotics. (Receptionists do not have the authority to discount or give products/services away for free.) We discounted your antibiotics in full and there was no charge for the post boarding exam. Also, testing a dog for bordetella involves anesthetizing the dog in order to collect samples from the airway for culture. Bordetella is responsive to antibiotics, therefore the risk of putting an animal under general anesthesia to test for an infection that is non-life threatening and treatable with antibiotics is not warranted. We do miss your pets boarding with us, they are good girls and we have been taking care of them since they were just puppies. We do hope you reconsider bringing your babies in for their annual visits and to stay with us again.

My family & I moved to the area in February of 2004. Since then we have been with Collingswood Animal Hospital. We hae a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel "Nikki" who we intrust to Dr. Villareal & his staff. Everytime we go there we are greeted very nicely and made comfortable with the visit. Everyone there is very kind & friendly, and our dog loves going there. When we pick her up she is in a great mood and playfull with the girls there. I always look to my dogs reaction to tell if she was mistreated and that has never been the case. I highly recomend Dr. Villareal & the stall at Collingswood Animal Hospital.

Provided by YP.comMy husband and I have been taking our 4 legged children to Collingswood Animal Hospital since 1995. We wouldn't go anywhere else! Dr. Villarreal and his staff are the most compassionate group of people. They truly love their job and their patients. (Some human doctors should take lessons from them!!!). When you go to their office, they are happy to see you and your pet. Our "babies" have no problem going to see the Dr.! They are actually happy to go. We also board them there and we swear they don't want to come home! It's their vacation too! We highly recommend Dr. Villarreal/Collingswood Animal Hospital.
Sincerely
Lisa and Michael Horan
Dr. Mrs. Horan, Thank you for your review on our hospital. We are so happy to see how satisfied you are with us. They are happy babies and love to stay with us and we just love them too! Thanks again!
