The 5 star reviews are either fake or intended for GMS in Springfield, VA. This company is nothing short of criminal.
They ARE NOT accredited by the BBB and rated F, NOT A+.
They ARE a broker and moves ARE NOT done "in-house" as they claim.
They WILL price gauge you at every possible opportunity.
They WILL NOT treat your belongings with care and respect, exactly the opposite.
There WILL be damaged and missing items.
Your goods WILL be held hostage if you are lucky enough to have them delivered.
They WILL NOT communicate by any other means other than phone, that way they can not be held accountable for their lies (hint: record all telephone conversations being sure to let them know as soon as the conversations starts. They get panicked and will hang up).
They will not deliver your belongings until they have found someone to do it for them (as they are a broker). In our case we had to wait 7 weeks and in this time there was continual lies as to where our belongings were then out of the blue they deem it adequate to give you 24hrs notice. This is another tactic in order to extort more money from you, the less notice they give, the less likely you are to be able to accept delivery and incur more costs.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY DEMONSTRATE A HUGE LEVEL OF INCOMPETENCE AND UNETHICAL PRACTICES.

These positive reviews have to be fake in my opinion. Had very similar experience than the prior review: The loaded the truck then said it would cost twice as much, even though things were removed from the estimate. Their promised delivery date is 3 weeks past due and no one will answer the phone (except the sales people, and they know nothing about your move). They appear to have very few employees, yet they say they are a full service mover...not a broker. The principles appear to run several business out of a house in Florida, and they've apparently changed their names at least once. They have a F BBB rating which says it all.

The worst moving company ever! I moved several times in the past four years, cross country and several times within state and this by far is the worst. The salesperson sounds genuine enough-in the beginning. I specifically asked him (Chris Hall) if they brokered or job it out and he said it would be them from beginning to end. Really??? cuz the delivery people were from another company and do not work for United Moving Services. BTW, they are United Moving Services (legal entity name) DBA Global Moving Systems LLC of Port Charlotte FL. Several pieces of my furniture were delivered damaged, as in cannot be put together and rendered useless unless I can find someone to repair it (additional cost). So now I have furniture taking up space and can't use. I packed and sealed majority of the boxes myself and many showed up ripped open, unsealed and had shoe prints on them. Fantastic! Then the delivery people would not assemble my bed or dining set b'cuz they were not the ones to disassemble. I am not able to do that on my own so I guess I'm shafted on that too. Stuck with furniture I can't use due either to damage or unassembled. This whole experience sucked. Many times when I called dispatch-essentially is 1 person (Vicki), no one answered the phone. When someone did get on the phone they were not able to tell me exactly where the movers were. I paid over $5,800 for FL to CA move. Now it's going to be more for furniture repair and to replace missing items. I had a shower chair for family member with disability, that's gone. I have not seen my shoe rack so that's gone. Did I also bring up that delivery people tried to deliver a piece of furniture that didn't belong to me? OMG this company sucks! This is their website globalmoving.pro.

Stolen property.. global moving systems,owner rob igneri stole our property. We hired them for a move from Florida to tx on 3/17/18. They quoted $1700 initially and after loading the truck they charged $3817.50.nonetheless we paid.On 3/27 they arrived to our residence with boxes and a few pieces of furniture. We have been sleeping on the floor ever since. They stole our bedroom furniture, 55 inch LG tv, living room furniture and more my daughter is having a baby and I acquired box full of baby things that is also among the missing, also our bistro set. But the most painful part is we are missing our photos of our children. All of hopes and dreams and the love of family in our family photo albums GONE.
Our bed alone cost more than 3k but can’t compare to our photos. I have receipts of our furniture. How could they do this to us? We trusted them with our possessions and they lied repeatedly , cheated and ultimately robbed us of our hard work and stole our memories. Please don’t believe the 5 star ratings you read. I believe those are from employees of the company. Most all negative reviews posted Robert will try and discredit with remarks that it’s fake. There is nothing fake about people posting similar experience. The company has only been in business since 2014. If you read department of transportation about rogue movers Global moving systems matches every characteristic to the letter. Please tell your friends and family do not become a victim. Do not hire them. They have done this before and will continue doing so because they know there is very little accountability. To date we are still sleeping on the floor. I am praying every day we will get results.

The crew was well organized and actually showed up on time. The pricing was accurate to the estimate we originally received from our representative Josh! Definitely a good company!

Couldn’t have asked for any more. The movers were professional, efficient & friendly. Dylan & Josh were wonderful. Their customer service was super. They obviously like what they do! Thank you, Global Moving Systems!
