In regards to Mr Miller's review! Steves Towing received a call from the Sherriff's office to pick up your vehcile. As per the law we sent notification out ,and you had 36 plus days to pick up yoir vehicle. On the 40th day you contacted our office and requested your belonging's in the vehicle. You than accuse us of stealing your ipod,which is completely bogus! First we have cameras in our shop!!! Will be happy to review with you! Second we can not steal what is legally ours! Since you failed to pick up your vehicle,and make payment due vehicle and all items attached to vehicle are owned by us! I understand we can not please all of our customers,but I can assure you we went above and beyond for you! We allowed additional days for you to pick up your vehicle,and you failed to show! We are a honest company,and to simply be accused of stealing your Ipod is ridiculous! Please know there are responsibilties even adults are required to adhere to!

I had my truck towed by them several months back through an unfortunate incident. I had picked my truck up to discover my Ipod transmitter and Ipod were missing from the lighter port which i had there for years. I had called the garage with a positive attitude to ask that he check around for my property, maybe a mistake was made, my intention was to not sound accusing to have my property returned without offending anyone. i was immediately told, without inquiry " we don't have it.!". like i said earlier in this review, it has been a few months. It bothered me to just let them get away with taking what is not theirs without voicing my opinion of them. they will claim to be a reputable company but they are not!!.. If you do choose to use these people,( can't see why!!), or don't have any choice in the matter, be sure to clear your property from your vehicle, cause you won't get any help in having it returned.

I needed my car towed. It died on interstate 75 slightly north of port charlotte at 7pm friday. I live in punta gorda so I was stranded in need of a help. I called more than 3 towing companies without mentioning names most gave the impression that they were busy and they could not get to me for a while, another company refused saying it did not drive the 1 mile past the toledo exit I was close too. and the rest wanted over a hundred dollars to bring my car home. On my 4th call now to STeves towing I told the the male dispatcher Bruce I had called other companies and he told me something that made me choose his service "your on a very dangerous high speed road mam and the prices you've been offered are a small price for your safety but I'll do my best to make it affordable." with that I felt like there was an actual concern and am very glad I chose this company, they will always have earned my business. And I will continue to recommend them whenever I see someone in need. Thank you st

We were ripped off! This company charged us $400 just to travel less than 1/8 of the distance we required so we had him dropp our vehicle! Prompt towing then saved the day! Charged us only $350 for the whole distance, Steves wanted closer to $1,000!!! Outrageous, we highly do not recommend them, unprofessional, and also broke severl legal and ethical rules in the process!! Beware!
