Provided by YP.comTHE OWNER TIM AS HE INTRODUCED HIMSELF ALMOST LIKE HE WANTED TO BEAT ON HIS CHEST LIKE AN OVERWEIGHT BABOON TO TELL US HE OWNED THE PLACE IS THE WORST BUSINESS OWNER WE HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND A TOTAL COMPLETE BS ARTIST. WE HAVE BEEN TO THE STORE MULTIPLE TIMES WAITING ON OUR HOUSE TO BE BUILT AND THERE WERE ALWAYS NEW EMPLOYEES EVERY TIME WE WENT THERE AND THEY WERE THE ONLY NICE THINGS WE HAVE TO SAY DUE TO THEIR POLITENESS AND KNOWLEDGE BUT THEY ARE NO LONGER EMPLOYED THERE AND WE ARE SURE WE KNOW WHY AFTER MEETING TIM AND HOW HOW TREATS PEOPLE LIKE DIRT AND ACTS LIKE HE HAS MUCH BETTER THINGS TO DO WITH HIS TIME WHICH LOOKS LIKES IT'S EATING BECAUSE IT APPEARED HE WAS ROLLING HIMSELF AROUND BECAUSE HE JUST POINTED AT TREES AND WOULDN'T WALK WITH US. WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND AND MAKE SURE EVERYONE WE KNOW TO BE AWARE OF HOW OBNOXIOUS THE OWNER TIM ACTS TOWARDS CUSTOMERS WANTING TO BUY ALL THE TREES AND LANDSCAPING FOR THEIR HOMES WISH WE READ REVIEWS FIRST BECAUSE THEY ARE TERRIBLE

Provided by YP.comWe wanted extensive landscaping and got a bid about 6 months ago from Diana (her card listed her as co owner) we decided to wait until closer to the rainy season and went back about a month ago only to find she was gone and all the computer records of our bid were lost. We worked with the new manager Rocky and were quite happy with the progress being made until the day the installation was to begin when we got a call from Rocky saying the owner had fired him due to a disagreement. 2 office manager in 6 months let go should have been a warning. The owner, Tim called that day and asked to come over. After spending about 15 minutes with him we understood the reason for the high office turnover. We informed Tim that he was one of the most obnoxious business owners we had ever met and we had no intention of doing any business with him. We are now back in the market for a new landscaper.

Provided by YPmobileThe store is not honoring the 1 year guarantee given when the purchase of 6 bushes that cost $390 was completed. The reason given is that the bushes were not watered during the months of May & June. We explained that we were not told about this and that the bushes were healthy with new growth at the beginning of April when we returned to PA. The expensive palm tree that we purchased at the same time is thriving (as we explained ). His response is that "we can not tell you everything ". I recommend that plant purchases be done at Home Depot or Lowe's where they will honor the warantee. We have 7 plants (purchased from other places) that have survived our departure other years. Disappointed in the response of The Tree Store at Port Charlotte!

Provided by YPmobileWe bought $2,000 worth of landscaping from this place last spring. Many of the plants died over the summer. We had a sprinkler system put in. We have contacted them several times to come out to review the situation and replace the plants that are guaranteed for one year. They were quick to get here for the sale but we can't even get a return call for the follow up.

Provided by YP.comPlace an order and told week and a half to pick up. Now three weeks and no product. When asked, told other more important obligations and don't know when the trees will arrive for certain. Attitude is everything and their attitude stinks! If I had seen the existing reviews and the BBB report prior, I would have never gone there anyway! Stay away from this place!
