This watch repair man completely knows his business. I had a watch not well repaired by a different repair man and this repair man fixed the watch and educated me on the workings of pocket watches. The other store made me feel like I was crazy, and this repair man helped me know that I was not crazy, but instead helped me understand that the other shop was incompetent.

Run don't walk away from this guy! I spent ALOT OF MONEY $300 here then $500 again and my beautiful grandfather's clock has never been right since this guy (his real name) touched it. In addition, when he took the movement from my clock he placed it in a DUFFEL BAG and returned it with the clock face scratched. Once he cashes your check he will not return calls to guarantee his work. Go to the place in North Port. They know what they're doing.

In 2006 I took a 1989 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust in for repair because it had moisture between the dial and the crystal. Guy Padhaisky, the owner, told me he was authorized to repair Rolex watched. He replaced the stem and charged me $481. Two weeks later the dial showed rust. I took it back to him and he replaced the dial. On February 3rd, 2015 I took the watch to a Rolex Dealer in Sarasota for maintenance and adjustment and was told the dial and the stem were knock-off parts and were not Rolex parts. It is now going to cost me an addition $800 for a new stem and dial.

Not sure if they can or not but you will need a fat wallet to get out of the place.A little story about local clock shops.I had my mantle clock cleaned and repaired buy a guy in Englewood. Good but I thought pricey at $85. Ok.. The man is now deceased.Several years later I went to RG clocks in Englewood. Same clock, same work $185.Fast forward, I need cleaning and repair so I try Watch Doctor with the caveat: give me a price before any work. Estimate $350!! WOW!! NO THANKS!I take it back up north to a reliable german clocksmith. Same work $97.Go figure but dont trust these people.

I've gone here several times and the service and price has been very good. I highly recommend them.
