For those of you who are considering a new or used trailer or requiring maintenance to an existing trailer, let me provide you with my personal experience in April of 2019.

As an avid boater for 39 years now, providing maintenance and engine repair to my vessels, you would think I would have general knowledge in boat trailers. Well, up until now, I didn't. Considering the many stranded boat trailers on the side of the road, I'm not alone. Having reside on the waterfront, I never had a need for a new boat trailer... until I took on a project 20 ft center console. With great performance results, I knew it was time for a trailer upgrade.

I stopped by West Coast trailer and met with the owner, Scott. Without going on a further rant, let me just say this. The level of knowledge and professionalism from Scott, his assistants, Allen and Bobby was absolutely amazing and very much appreciated. Not only did Scott provide me with the best price on a new Continental trailer, the TEAM made every effort to customize my trailer bunks and axles to accommodate my boat and provide the correct tongue weight. They have earned my business!

On a Friday morning our family was headed to the FL Keys for 2 1/2 week vacation when at 7:20am we had a severe problem with the boat trailer...and we could not continue. We were 6 hours from our destination. Started checking business on our smartphones in the area, being away from home had no idea who to call, several were not open, and others we had to leave a voice message. By 8:30am AAA Auto Club had arrived to help. We found and talked to Don Mashke Jr. at West Coast Trailer. He told us to come in so he could take a look, and with boat & trailer being towed that's what we did. Don replaced and welded boat trailer checking everything out. Got us back on road for our vacation. We can never say how must we appreciated his company and workers. They took care of us and helped us when we truely needed a buiness to depend on their honesty and timely manner in getting the much needed work done.
