This was the last time i ever come to this restaurant ! When I saw this Franchise chain sign on Post Rd where it was going to be built my family and I was extremely happy. Because we use to travel on the Deegan 87 expressway to get Popeye’s and pay the tolls both ways to go back home to PC. But this last Saturday was horrible to say the least. We know of course they slowed down in business not like when they first opened there doors you could not get into the place (((packed)). So past Sat on the home from work my Wife asked me to pick up some Popeye's for dinner because she did not cook. FIRST around 3:15 ish. I pull up to drive thru place was empty I asked for the 10piece meal and was told all we have is spicy Breasts and the wait is approx.. 15min or so, now keep in mind this is drive thru and the lot was empty. So said I will come back. 25 mins. later I come back after making that dangerous left hand turn off Post Road to the property the drive thru was packed but only 2 cars in the lot. So I park and go inside and all the sudden CHAOS erupted. They really looked overwhelmed the whole STAFF even the Managers if that's what the white shirts are for. If the owner reads this my receipt number is 225080 345pm. So I order inside the store and it then boom it happened the cashier told me 12 mins. is the wait for chicken and RUDELY AND said DO YOU WANT TO WAIT. I basically said i have no choice we need dinner and she said to me SUIT YOURSELF i was thrown way back like wow ok. Ok so I’m waiting on the side and more customers start coming in ordering is disbelief of the RUDENESS AND POOR service. It gets better all of the sudden the PLACE fills with smoke and the fire alarms goes off VERY LOUD i can say. So the guy with the white shirt AKA Manager grabs the phone and runs outside to call Who NO CLUE and then in seconds he disables the alarm but the lights are still flashing. OK silent now alarm. And the place is full of smoke. 15mins later stunned myself and about 5 customers still waiting on are order BOOM FIRE ALARM GO'S OFF AGAIN.OK so now i see my order is coming as i look up to the kitchen area where they pass of the new fried chicken all i can see is HOT DRIPPING CHICKEN GOING FROM THE BACK STRAIGHT INTO THE BOX TO CUST. I MEAN STILL HOT GREASE NO DRAINING AT ALL. Right now my fingers are tired of typing to even go on for this Franchise. So you basically can picture the rest, let your imagination do the rest. Well Popeye's Port Chester good luck because I’m not a huge fan of KFC but it's going have to do for now or if we are near the DEEGAN i will pay double tolls.
