One of my biggest concerns when I moved to Port Townsend was finding a new Vet for my dogs, Coco and Maxie. Thank goodness I called the Visitor's Center, and was told about Hadlock Veterinary Clinic (HVC). Both of my dogs were older (Coco 11 yrs old and Maxie 13 yrs old) when we became clients at HVC. Dr. Virginia Johnson’s care for my girls was beyond wonderful. Her diagnostics were amazing, and I never left wondering what was wrong. There was always a plan of action, and often more than one choice, depending upon my finances. I appreciated her concern for my well-being in trying to take the best care possible of my girls. And I can’t leave a review without saying how much emotional support I was given as well. For 8 years, I turned to Dr. Johnson for help, and I never left HVC without being grateful for the care my pups received. Dr. Johnson and her staff have gone above and beyond for us more than I thought possible. I found Love, Kindness, Concern and Support alongside the phenomenal veterinary care. I told everyone I knew about HVC without reservation. Though both of my pups have passed on (Coco in June 2008 and Maxie this year in January), I still drop in at least once a month to say hello because I miss everyone there so much! If I adopt another dog in the future, there is no question in my mind where I’ll go for veterinary care. I love HVC and give them the highest recommendation possible.
