My daughter needed a gymnastics floor routine and her gym was not able to bring in their choreographer in time for her meet. This was her 1st meet and she was very excited and nervous. We scheduled (2) 1 hour privates with the owner Gwenn (who has tons of experience with gymnastics) and she created a beautiful routine! Mind you, this was about 1 month prior to the meet (with Thanksgiving in between as well). Her routine was completed after the 2nd private lesson. I scheduled 1 additional private the week of the meet, just to clean up anything my daughter needed help with. The RESULT: My daughters 1st gymnastics competition meet with the floor routine choreographed by Backstage Studio of Dance and she earned an 8.85 out of 10!!!! We could not be more pleased with Gwenn and Backstage with their professionalism, knowledge, skill and talent. Highly recommend them for Dance lessons as well as Choreography for Gymnastics floor routines!!!

My daughter started dancing here in 1992 when she was was 5 years old. She is still dancing here and also teaches tap, jazz, acro, and lyrical classes. 2 years after she started, my son started dancing here also. He took all the standards and also started ballroom dancing with Lisa Lettas and now, at 30, he still does ballroom and competes regularly. This studio has done so much for their confidence and poise and structure in their everyday lives. Thank you Backstage Studio of Dance!!

All three of my daughters have grown up at Backstage Studio for the last decade and they still love it. My two eldest started at another studio in the area, but after 3 years I had to change because they weren't learning anything. Once we came to Backstage, both my daughters' eyes lit up and their knowledge of dance grew more in that 1st year than all 3 years at their first studio combined. My youngest started at Backstage in the Tiny Tots program at 2-1/2 years old and is still with a lot of those same friends now in the more advanced classes. The family atmosphere that this studio provides is extremely inviting and as a parent I have always felt comfortable dropping off my daughters for multiple hours. The recital at the end of the year is by far the best I have seen...it's like a professional, secure, Broadway production!!

Being apart of Backstage Studio of Dance for the past 20 years both as a student and now teacher has shaped me physically, mentally, and emotionally into the strong person I am today. There's no other dance family I would rather be apart of then BSD!! <3

Where do I begin...from the day I brought home my amazing daughter, I hoped she would want to dance. Being the best grandma ever, my mom did an extensive search for a studio. Luckily she found Backstage.

From the moment we started in Tiny Tots it felt like family. There was a comfort, a familiarity that has lasted the past 5 years.

The experience of the teachers coupled with their knowledge of teaching children is unparalleled. I have heard horror stories of dance instructors being lazy or overly strict...Backstage has the perfect combination, caring instructors that get the most out of their students. My daughter works so hard and dance is the best incentive I could ever have.
