They keep my 91 Harley running strong!

Came there for a rear master cylinder repair kit Carl was very helpful at first but after getting the wrong kit and trying to make my parts fit the kit . After turning down ball end of the push rod there was no way to hold it to the cylinder. He then told me it gets held in when you mount the master on the frame and attach the linkage. I told him that is not the way it came off . So then he told me he'd get me a new complete master cylinder for $212.00 . I showed him the drawing in my service manual that showed it as a complete unit when you install it and that what he got me was for a early 87 and earlier. He then got really mad said he'd give me my money back and I could be on my way. Now I have a useless master cylinder because he didn't have the knowledge how a master cylinder works .I don't know how they can be in business as long as they have . Now I had to order a new master cylinder from J + P cyle but it's only costing me $119.00 not $212.00 . But it should have been 20.00

My wife purchase a 2004 fatboy for me as a Christmas gift. Ron the owner was very professional and stored the bike at his shop to hide it from me. I've since use thunderbikes for some custom work on my bike and they are very good . Highly recommended

I had an accident on my Motorcycle and decided to use Thunderbikes LI to repair my bike. I should have took the time to take it else where. Although Ron the owner is a very pleasent person and I enjoyed talking with him, I would not reccomend this shop for any service at all. Not only did it take all Summer long to repair my bike, but the Mechanic Carl had no idea what he was doing when it came to a simple installation of a new Air intake system. If he would have just read the directions for the Carburator my bike would have been fine.Instead he acted like a Child and refused to finish my bike because he swore he knew what he was talking about and refused to seek help from Qualified people. I took it to a professional and he fixed the problem literally in 30 seconds. I won't even go into the problems I had when it came to the ordering of my parts or even calling the insurance adjuster back to confirm the appraisel. Very bad experience with this shop. I am forced to give a rating and the lowest is 1 star, but honestly they deserve a zero.
