Established in 1929 by Samuel Rosenstein, and still owned and operated by the same family, Royal Furniture of Port Jervis, has long been an anchor business in this historic city. The store itself has evolved through the years, now encompassing three floors and over 30, 000 square feet. The business was originally operated in two adjacent buildings on lower Pike Street and, in the mid-seventies expanded to occupy the entire corner lot. That expansion set the image for which the store is now so well and widely known. The store features a Broyhill Showcase Gallery in addition to many of the highest quality furniture manufacturers in the country. Royal Furniture continually attracts people from as far away as Long Long Island NY, southern Connecticut, southern New Jersey, and all of northeast Pennsylvania. As a family business, the owners have always strived to project an image of personal and attentive service in every aspect of the business. The delivery team is known well by many of the repeat customers and they have a reputation for courtesy and efficiency. The delivery trucks are owned and maintained by the store, and delivery has always been a free service. The sales staff is a group of professional, knowledgeable and creative men and women who are not only there to sell, but to help define the needs of their clients and create for each of them, a stylish and comfortable home, room by room.

Love My Furniture

I bought a new dining room table and chairs from Royal Furniture. I wanted furniture that would last like my moms dining room did when I was growing up. They directed me to the best brand around and gave me a price I couldn't refuse.

Best Price Around

I like to shop around to get the best price on any big ticket items I'm in the market for. When I called Royal Furniture they blew all my other quotes out of the running. I bought what I was looking for plus I was able to put money aside for my next project. Thank You Royal!!!!

Amazing!

Royal Furniture is awesome. I can't stand pushy sales people. Not at Royal. Royal's people give me the perfect amount of service and space I need every time (I have worked with three different salse people over many years.) Their selection is incredible, not the blah, blah, blah stuff you see at the big box stores. And they have extremely fair prices. I send everyone I know there now. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Do not buy here!

Just horrible, would never buy from again, can't even return a phone call, how hard is that? Had to chase to get answers and still given the run around constantly. Issue is still not resolved after 3 months, keep getting the run around. Nothing has been resolved, the BBB will be contacted, so will my bank for a full refund. DO not shop here!

ROYAL IS THE PLACE TO GO

As far as I'm concerned, Royal Furniture is the best!!! My experience was wonderful start to finish. It was time for me to put my father in an assisted living facility (which is hard enough) and we needed a few items for his room. Our salesperson Mike was so patient and kind with us. He directed us to items that he said worked for other people in the same situation. He was right on. It was just perfect for the room. He didn't try to sell us more than we needed. Plus, Royal Furniture gives free delivery! Good selection, great prices, friendly staff. Why buy at a big box store when you can get better service and prices at a local family business

GREAT STORE. MY FURNITURE IS AMAZING

DO NOT buy from this store

I ordered a recliner in November 2009 and was given an estimated delivery date of January 2010. I called in February and was the leather was out of stock. I never received any kind of update from them. New delivery estimate - April 2010. I attemped to cancel the order - was then told they could give us a "better quality" leather for the same price that was available now. Delivery estimate is now first week of March 2010. It's March 9th. I called again and was told AGAIN that this new leather was out of stock. Delivery estimate of May 2010. It should NOT take 6 months to order and deliver a chair that is on their showroom floor. They do not follow up to provide updates. Very BAD experience with this store.
