The receptionist at the front desk was very rude. This was one of the worst experience I ever had. I end up walking out of their office to locate another Vet. I feel if the staff is rude, they will most likely neglect your pets. Also, they initially misled me to think they see cats only, but in realty thy see dogs too at the same office.

We have gone to Halifax Vet for the care, boarding and sadly end of life experiences and have experienced nothing but care and compassion for our pets. We continue our patronage of one of the finest vets in town!

I have repeatedly taken my cat to the clinic without results. I was told she was stressed; no medication was given. My cat was stressed with a UTI and they are asking if I want a skin tag removed. Really? I was just told she was stressed. I asked for the records & x-rays & was charged $20.!!! I just got copy of my own MRI and wasn't charged.

The actual Veterinary staff always provided good care to my pets. However, their front office staff are rude. I had a billing discrepancy that was different from the estimate I had been given and when I questioned the bill and stated that there was a difference I was literally called a liar in front of other customers. Good vet care but not worth he hassle from their office staff. They never even apologized for the error or their behavior. I no longer use their services.

I went to this vet clinic for the first time today with a dog that I rescued who has had a horrible life. Dr Bartos treated my dog as I would want to be treated by my own doctor. She shows genuine care and concern, and a love of animals, was patient and willing to answer all questions, and even willing to take the time to give me advice on things I asked about regarding take care of my dog that didn't even pertain to this visit. I definitely plan on all of my animals seeing her in the future! This was a great visit with a fantastic Vet, where not only was I not stressed but my dog was not stressed even through x rays and other testing! I would definitely recommend this vet clinic! :-)

This is a very kind group. I have been going here for over ten years. They always follow up when one of my animals is sick. Dr. Kluth is great and Dr. Bartos is the most empathetic vet I have ever used. She laughs with me and cries with me. I trust her implicitly. Both of them truly listen to me and know that when I think something is wrong that I mean it. They never brush me off nor anyone I know that uses them ever. My dogs have no fear of the vet. They actually like to go there. I like that they believe like I do in some alternatives like acupuncture which they also provide. I highly value our vet and we have six dogs so they see me way more than once a year.

We have been going to Halifax Veterinary Clinic for over 15 years. The knowledge and compassion they have for my animals has been overwhelming. Dr. Bartos has come out on a Sunday to help one of our Maltese that was in critical condition and saved her life. That kind of commitment is exemplary. If you frequent a vet often, you get to see the real behind the scenes caring going on, as my husband and I have done. We are truly blessed.
