Don't rent from Kitsap Property management! My husband is navy and we were stationed in bremerton and we were there for 3 years. It started out fine until the dish washer broke. My husband and I went a bought a brand new one and just asked to have them hook it up. They never used a ground wire and it fried it the first time I used it. It then took them 4 months from the time I told them about it until they finally got a new washer and had someone come and re install it. They then tried to charge us for it. That was just the start. Three years later my husband gets transfered across the country. I gave 2 months notice. I also let them know that I wasn't able to hire someone to come clean the house and I was fine with that coming out of our deposite. (We had a new baby and things were hectic) once we moved in we received a letter saying that all of the deposited was used. They accused us of leaving a dog house and a BBQ behind the fence on the green belt which was there before we moved in and therefore charged us $200 just for the removal. Ridiculous! Specially since it wasn't on their property. On top of that they never gave us our money back for the prorated amount for our last month's rent which I had in writing that they would since they were given more then 20 days notice of our leave and we left 10 days before the end of the month. We are still dealing with them and I'm honestly tempted to call my lawyer to see what I can do since I have photos of the day we moved in and video of the house the day we moved out. Managment here is so rude. If you want good customer service you will not find it here! Don't mess with the stress and pick another managment company. I promise you they aren't worth dealing with.

I have been with Kitsap Property Management for 10+ years. I have always found them to be prompt with work order concerns and very professional in keeping my rent straight and properly applied. The office staff is always cheery when I come in to pay rent. They seem to genuinely care about me and I wouldn't care to go anywhere else. Thanks Kitsap. :)

Horrible people. Vindictive to renters who pay on time because they ask of things that are specifically stated as covered on the lease. They won't cover anything for you. I complained about the owners repeated habbit stopping by with no warning or a call the day of when they are supposed to give you 24 hours notice. Now they are coming to check on the house because of my complaints. The owner also likes to come by and trash talk the previous tenants. They left the dish washer unhooked from the wall or anything for the first year we lived in the house. I should of complained about privacy then to get someone to come by and install it... who knew it was as easy as asking for some privacy in the space you pay money to inhabit.



I have a ten month old baby and a step-son and there is an awful lot of concern by the owner as to when my step-son is around when I was allowing him to communicate to me by phone. I don't allow that anymore. I do not appreciate this situation one bit. I shouldn't be forced to deal with an insane owner and a bully of a property management company. It's turning into harassment. No quiet enjoyment at all!!!

Nightmare experience

They manage to cost thousands in repair. Repairs about $25000, not counting the company that did the water mitigation work. Told them to turn off my water during a snow storm. Owner said they did. 2 weeks later when the renters started to move in, they found the place completely flooded with a broken pipe that was running water. Renters never were able moved in. I refund their rent for that month, they had already paid,. I told them they can look elsewhere to rent because repairs will take a long time. I told Kitsap Property Management I no longer wanted their services. The owner refuse to return my maintenance deposit. When she realized they still had the bill for the plumber who repaired the pipe. She told me if I paid the bill, she would refund $375 of my $500 maintenance deposit. I figure it would be better then nothing. I paid the bill, but now she changed her mind and will not fulfill her side of the agreement. I have never had the displeasure of dealing with a business like this

They Refuse Check-out Inspections!

If you want to lose part of your rent deposit, rent from this company. My husband is active military and we have rented many houses over the 11 years and have always had a check out inspection with the rental company or the owner when vacating the rental property and always told that the house was in perfect condition and in better condition then when we arrived. This company refused us the check out. Let me just start out by saying that I am a very, very clean person and some of my family even says that I could have OCD. They sent in a cleaning company to do the inspection and of course a cleaning company that wants to make money is going to make something out of nothing. I guess that they found a couple Q-tips in a bathroom drawer and the insides of the kitchen cabinets were not clean. I know that the kitchen cabinets were clean on the inside because I cleaned them myself and come on two Q-tips. Besides this I was not allowed to be shown the uncleaniness as proff for the charges that were deducted from my deposit. I am not a happy camper about these charges! I told Kitsap Property Management about the work (improvements) that I had made on the house. The ice and water that is in the door of the frig was broken and we fixed. The decks had black mold growing on them, we rented a power washer and cleaned them all. The yard was nothing but weeds and we worked up the yard and replanted all the grass (weed free now). We did all of this without Kitsap Property giving a money toward it. I'm sorry but a rental companies job is to manage the properties and I was told that they didn't have time and it would cost them to much money to do inspections themselves. Come on that's what your company does or is so post to do. I think that KPM has a friend or family member that owns the cleaning business and that is way they refuse check out inspections. I wish that I could show you all pictures of the house and yard after I left and give you some proff. I'm hoping that this will give you a warning before renting from KPM, I know that your family will lose money upon vacating. Times are hard right now and every penny counts.
