Provided by YP.comI had a car that was totalled so I went to shop around for a new car. I was approached by a sales person who was not really knowledgable but I thought it would be okay because I pretty much knew what I wanted. I ended up buying a "pre-owned certified Honda", which is supposed to go through a vigorous check to make sure it can be sold with the "pre-owned certified" label. I chose that because I wanted a car that I wouldn't have to worry alot about and I trusted that Honda would sell me a "pre owned, certified" car that would live up to what they claim. I checked the vehicle to make sure it was okay, and I asked for a carfax and it checked out. My first mistake was telling them I was carless and had totalled my previous car. They only came down $300 on the price because they knew i "needed" the car. I then went to the finance dept. to purchase the car. The man in finance told me what my interest rate would be, and said he would try to get it lower for me, and he would call me the next day. I waited, he never called. the day after my purchase I noticed the front bumper and been wrecked, dented, scratched, covered with touch up paint, and glued back on. I had a professional look at this to tell me what he thought, and he could not believe that this was a pre owned, certified Honda. the reason it did not show up on the carfax, is because a previous owner wrecked it and fixed it themselves, so of course it would never show up on a carfax report. I took the car back and explained the situation. one of the managers asked me "So what do you want me to do? Make it new?" i told him i wanted him to make it a certified, pre owned honda, which it was not, because if it was, they would have caught that, and fixed it, or sold it as is. He said he would get back to me. So the next day I called, and he still didn't have an aswer for me. I asked to talk to the person who was in charge of the entire operation. That person took the car back from me, had it fixed at no charge, and put me in a rental car, free of charge while they made it the way it should have been in the first place. I was happy after all that, but I will not buy a car from this place again.
