Been here many times, although the service is somewhat slow there food makes up for it. Very reasonable prices and big portions

very good food and service

We had a party of seven drop in on this restaurant this past Sunday, after church. We found a very clean dining room that was nicely appointed to reflect the Cuban restaurant style. Not high Cuban, like you might find in Miami, but still what you would expect from a Cuban restaurant.

We were welcomed right away and escorted to a large table. Our drink order was taken promptly and delivered within a few minutes. Our food order was presented to us in a very reasonable time, with everything being correct.

Each dish was pleasantly appointed with a food arrangements that was very appealing. The quality of the preparation was perfect.

I've enjoyed Cuban food throughout Florida and in Lakeland Habana, Cuba. Perhaps this has tilted my expectations. The taste of the food here is very good. And I do mean very, VERY good. However, if your pallet is accustomed to the best from Cuba, you may find this to be a 9 instead of a 10.

When I drove up to the restaurant there were 2 tables being served and the open sign was on. As soon as we drove up and parked the car in front of the door the hostess came up to the door and turned off the open sign . It was no later then 8:50 and the close at 9 I understand people want to go home but we didn't even get the option for take out or to even get off and ask. I use to work at a restaurant and even though it was 5 minutes to close we atleast gave the option for take out and not to dine in. It was very rude and it was pretty much shutting the door in oure face. I guess they don't want customers coming back and letting people know how nice it is to go to a place like that. My family and I will never go back again. I hope the owner is reading this and knows he will lose more customers that way. We'll take our money else where
