(Est. 2004) is proudly the first Montessori School in the city of PSL Fla. We specialize in the implementation of the Montessori Method, a system for the education of children from birth - age 18. Our focus is the development of materials, educational techniques, and observations which support the natural development of children. Children are encouraged to learn how to learn, thus gaining independence and self-confidence. Your child often learns through the process of education by doing.

This school used to be great, in the past 2 years the quality has gone down significantly. The teachers went from all being over qualified to all being fresh out of highschool with no experience or Montessori training. They are more worried about making sure classes are full than actually teaching. The school is still clean and they are a decent 'day care' but they pride themselves on being a 'school.' They are nothing but a high priced daycare. There is nothing educational going on. I would say this is a good place to start your child, but pull them out and put them in an educational environment by age 3 or they will fall behind when they get to grade school!

Woodlands Montessori North is a great school with caring teachers and as expected a Montessori learning approach. They genuinely try to meet the needs of their students and help them succeed. I am a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and have been consulted numerous times by the administration to assist when a particular student is struggling due to developmental or sensory processing issues.

I must say my child has been attending woodlands for a year. And I love the hospitality me and my daughter get. Teachers, and staff as well as the director are very professional and friendly. I recommend woodlands without any hesitation.

Both of our children go to Woodlands and absolutely LOVE it there!! The staff is so friendly, energetic and knowledgeable. We actually have a few of the girls who work there babysit for us when we need it. I would highly recommend this school to anyone that needs childcare/school for their children. We moved from NJ and was recommended to to Woodlands and I'm so pleased with our choice to put both our children in the school. Ms. Diane the school's director is such a caring and wonderful woman and her daughter Ms. Kristin who works in the office with her mother to help run the facility is fantastic!! The two of them really have a wonderful enthusiasm towards the school and most of all the children that attend. Couldn't ask for a better place to send our children... we feel very safe and loved there!!!

My son has been coming to this school for Years and it seems as though the Director and her Daughter have disliked us the entire time. Talking down and disrespecting us every chance they have. Kristin (The Daughter) has had to have her own daughter removed from the school for misbehaving and fighting with other kids. Goes to show you they can't even control there own Daughter/ Granddaughter. STAY AWAY.

The owners and staff are professional, courteous and absolutely caring and loving of the children. Both of my children went to Woodlands Montessori. They are 10 & 12 now and are thriving academically and socially and I believe it started with the foundation set from Woodlands! I found it funny that the previous review did not respect privacy of others and did not use your personal info when leaving a comment. This is an excellent Montessori school both socially and academically! Most importantly, they truly care for your children:)

This is a great school. They care about my kids development, heath and education. They are pricey but it is well worth the money. My child is getting the best education instead of getting babysat. If you are looking for a school to help your child with there education and manners and NOT a daycare. This is a great school.

My daughter has been at Woodlands for a year, we love it. The above reviewer has some sort of strange vendetta against the school. The same "copy&pasted" rant is all over the internet.

We have experienced none of the above accusations. My daughter has been receiving a top notch education and we couldn't be happier.

Avoid the heartache! Take your child elsewhere!

The Director refused to give me my child’s teacher's last names, saying that by law she doesn't have to! I was also appalled to find that the snacks they were feeding him, we don't allow him to have (i.e. cheetos, cookies, captain crunch, fruit loops)! She promotes her friends businesses through the school: Fun Bus, Photographer and so forth. Photography packages were over $100! She became angry that I wouldn't sign a release to allow her to use our child’s image. NIGHTMARE from the beginning! Don't entrust these people with your children! Always trying to get more money from you! Beware the word “Montessori” is not copyrighted, and anyone can use it!
