DO NOT HIRE D & M Construction from Portage!!! Unfortunately I hired this amateur to paint my house. Long story short, he never prepped the surface of the siding and as soon as cold weather hit, the paint started peeling off of the siding. They also painted over the vegetation growing up my siding without removing it. Not only that, there were dozens of runs on the siding as well. The runs were due to one of his workers getting drunk on the job, this info was from one of his other workers the following day. I also saw him drinking with my neighbor across the street, but thought he was on break, drinking only one beer. They over sprayed on my trees, fencing, walkways, etc. I also paid them to fix a bad spot on my roof and fix some damaged soffit. The roof repair they did was to place extra singles over the damaged ones and smother it with tar, not correct. The soffit repair was not even done with soffit, but with flashing and looked terrible. I took David McCurtis, owner, to small claims court and won a judgement against him for $1600. He has yet to pay me a dime and refuses to do so. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!
