Castlebay Lane Elementary School, opened in 1971, is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. It provides technical and special education and talented programs. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, science, language arts, English, social studies and physical education. The Los Angeles Unified School District operates more than 100 elementary, middle and high schools.
