Not sure whats up with the negative reviews here but my wife and I have been eating here for years and have nothing but good things to say. The food is always excellent and the service has never been anything but amazing.

Not only was the food overpriced but there was very little of it. When I order a steak plate for $20 I expect to see $20 worth of meat not mostly rice.

The owner was extremely rude. He asked my wife and children to sit outside? He made it clear without saying it directly that he did not want my wife and kids inside. I did not know this until afterward. After I joined my wife and kids for dinner outside and paid my bill with a generous tip($65.00 for a soup and 2 main dishes) he came outside, accosted me, and complained to me because my 3 year old spilled a little soup (maybe a tablespoon worth) on his plastic ( faux ratan) chair. In a very snide voice he said" are we supposed to clean this up?" What did he expect me to say? When I broached the subject with him he said "you should have apologized" I could not believe my ears. In this economy when businesses are failing left and right the last thing you would expect is a comment like that. . I am a business owner myself and deal with other peoples children and their messes all the time. I strongly urge yo all to never go there. Why give your business to someone who treats others like that. There are plenty of businesses with nice people who deserve your money.

FOOD IS EXCELLENT ....DESSERT DELICIOUS, IS NICE THE RESTAURANT OPENED UP FINALLY THERE IS A GOOD MIDDLE EASTERN PLACE WITH YUMMY FOOD!, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TRY IT FOR YOURSELF AND I AM SURE YOU WILL GO BACK NOT ONCE, BUT MANY TIMES...FOOD IS LIKE HOME MADE VERY HEALTHY AND TASTY..:O)

I go there often, the food is excellent and the ambience just perfect for a night out with the family. I have tried many of the local middle eastern in the area and we are now stuck with "mediterranean bistro": great taste, tasty food and well priced, may be service a little slow at times but worth the wait. Not sure about the previous ratings, but it is a kid friendly place, there are always families with their little ones enjoying the good food. I am glad the restaurant is local, we needed a restaurant like this one..we highly recommend it.

exceptional food great service porter ranch needed a place like this seems like the other 2 reviews are on a personal vendetta since it is the same person writing it anyway dont listen to anyone try it for yourself and then you will see best middle eastern food probably in los angeles by the way i asked them their chef is rated from la times and daily news 4 star chef must try yum yum yum

Mall type food with low to average dining experience. Worst Baklava I've ever had! Might as well go to a food court, as a food court would have better food and faster service.

I just ate at Mediterranean Bistro in the Porter Ranch shopping center with my husband and 2 kids, 4 1/2 and 14 months. At the end of our meal we were told never to come back since my 14 month old made a mess. One of the managers or owners said, "Who lets their child eat off the table?" The owner came out, an older gentleman, and said, "Do not ever come back!" Not child friendly in child friendly neighborhood!
