I work at a hotel in Portland. I hope all travelers read this. DO NOT USE Alliance Cab. They are rude, deceitful and non-responsive to complaints. They pick up out of state visitors and take roundabout routes to drive up the charge. They refuse to give receipts when asked. One customer gave a $20.00 bill for a $7.00 fare and the driver said "Thanks for the tip" and drove off despite the customers protests

They suck. On consecurive days my daughter went from to the same location and was charged $22 and $34 respectively. The owner saisd it was becausr of the route my daughter requested! Ha...she doesn't drive and doesn;t know the route! Do not trust this company

This company has honest drivers who are doing a great job. They also have clean cabs. I recommend my friends and anyone who needs a clean cab.

Alliance Cabs based out by the Portland, ME airport is in my opinion the best cab service in the area. The drivers are friendly, the cars are kept very clean, and the operators are very helpful. Alliance also has vans, and the "call-out" service is great for the cold weather here in Maine. As proof of how exceptional Alliance cabs are, I recently left a very valuable bag in the trunk of a cab when coming home from the airport... I only made one phone call, and I had my bag back in less than a day. Thanks Alliance!



Six stars on a five star scale!!!

Alliance Cab showed me a "random act of kindness" which you don't see a lot of lately. I took a different cab service and when I got home, I realized that I had left my camera behind in that cab. I could not remember the name of the cab that brought us home, so I started calling around. I think his name was Eric??? from Alliance cab, but he told me that he would try and locate the cab that had brought me home. He did just that & called me back to put me in touch with the independent cab. I would not have been able to get my camera back if he didn't help me. Not to mention the cab that I left my camera in was also willing to meet me anywhere to return it! VERY NICE! Thanks GUYS! :) I will not hesitate to recommend either one of them. I have both #'s in my phone now! :} Thanx again!Michelle & Chris

When you think about taking public transportation - call Alliance Cab! Their drivers are courteous & friendly. Thier vehicles are always clean and they are fully insured!
