Wow, I absolutely love Blanche and Mimi. It is posted on a card on the checkout counter that returns are for store credit only. This policy is actually common in downtown Portland. The exceptions are at Christmastime and if you let them know it's for a gift.

Keep going! you can not get your money back for anything store credit only even if you don't live here. Don't buy gifts for people because if they don't like it they are stuck with it.

My daughter bought a blanket here for college but could not really afford it and could not return it for her money just store credit, but as we all know college students need money not blankets. I am now thinking maybe they don't want it back because they don't think it is really worth what they sold it for. Life lesson learned, cant buy your books with a thin blanket!!!
