Cyndi is a great tattoo artist... not the best out there but a great artist when compared to most other Maine tattoo artists. All things are relative.
She did a large piece for me that took maybe 3-4 sittings. It was 90% finished when we had a very small problem; I had asked her to do some freelance drawings on the side. When she promised them a few times but never delivered (a couple of months later), I politely and somewhat sheepishly expressed my disappointment. Had I known what was to follow, I would have never said a word, biting my tongue so I could get the last sitting and touch ups done on my large tattoo she had started.
Now, half a year later, my tattoo remains 90% finished, is in need of the finishing touches and she has refused to return my call and emails and ignored her professional duty as an tattoo artist; To finish what she started. I no have half my back covered with her artwork and will be forced to find someone else to try and match the style and shades of colors to finish it off.
I am self conscious about wearing a backless top that will show it because everyone says the ame thing when they see it; "Cool, when is it going to be finished?" or "Nice tattoo... why does it have pieces of color missing?"
Cyndi and Nikki are charming, disarming, little dolls when you meet them. Fun to chat with, engaging and pleasant. But say one word negative (and a small one at that) and the professionalism and courtesy goes out the window. No regard for what she (Cyndi) is responsible for. Not to be fully trusted when it comes to ethics.
Sorry, Cyndi and Nikki... I gave you four months to get back to me and do the right thing. I will not recommend you to anyone. A real shame.
