Alteration Station was established in 1992. Since taking over ownership in 2000 we have been providing great customer service as well as unbeatable workmanship. Salim Karam, the owner has been in the tailoring field since arriving to Portland in 1990. His career as a custom tailor began in 1979. Along with the owner, our team of tailors and seamstresses are thankful for our many loyal customers. I am new to this part of Portland, and I was looking for a new tailor and I came across this place the prices were a little bit higher then across the river. But I took a chance anyway glad that I did their work is very good, great customer service and the time to wait for your garment isn't too long but they are a busy store they do a lot of business because they're a great company. I recommend this store to anyone that needs to get their items hemmed etc. You won't be sorry you did!

Great Service - Friendly Staff

I have had several garments fitted here and they are always just how I wanted them. The staff fits the garment and does the work in a timely and friendly manner. I recommend them for any kind of alterations. The location is great too. Easy to find and parking is usually no problem.
