Have been going to this pet store for many years, for my fish, bird , and dog life , they are family, just as my pets are. I love you guys....Gary and Peekaboo, and the gang.

Wonderful pet store. Owners are knowledgeable and friendly. Their daughters work in the store. We have seen them grow up into such caring young ladies that are so hard working. We would recommend them to everyone. Suzi Blucher and Anna Jones

Ok I had made a deal with one of Danas son I believe his name was Rich. The deal was on some long fin plecos . He asked what I wanted for them and I told him. And then he pulled his price list and told me he can get them cheaper. Well after talking about it. I told him mine were long fin albinos and 2inches long and he agreed to pay my price so he orderd 13. And after two phone calls confirming a time and date and price my wife and I drove 45 minutes one way only to find out that Rich wanted and did back out of the deal. I my self find this to be a real dirt bag move. but after looking around the store it did not surprise me. The fish department was a discusting mess.. The store was filthy. And ive been working with reptiles for over 25 years. And the condition of the reptile room and the rest of the reptiles was sickening and in my opinion this place should be shut down. So people please explore the many other pet shops in Portland before supporting a place like this. Also the

staff can use a couple classes in customer service and more training on the proper care of the animals what a sad group of people.

After many years of friendship with the owner and his sons. We have done favors back and forth between each other. Because Dana is not doing so well the sons decided to change the friendship and start charging me more after all the favors I've done for them and things that I have pointed out to make the store better. Their fish department is seriously lacking in care and in fish. The reptiles that they sell are sick. For many years of doing business dealings and friendship and seen tonight how they treated my friend that tried to sell them some plecos. And drove over an hour to them to just get the runaround and to be low balled. If you want great deals you should go online. Online to buy your things it is much more affordable and for most places over $50 you get free freight to your door. I was very disappointed to get a phone call with a message saying that we need to charge you more and you need to pay our surcharge fees even if we order. I can understand if they didn't order from that particular company and I pay the surcharge fee . Friendship and customer service are definitely not a high priority at this pet store.
