- Aikido is a non-competitive martial art that teaches respect, and harmony. Students work together to help each other master exciting martial art techniques including dynamic throws, and pins. By working in harmony to create powerful martial art techinques, students develop deep levels of trust and friendship with each other. Aikido is not a sport. It's a way of life.
