Always very helpful and patient. The love you have for birds really shows through your customer service. I have a " hand me down" conure and he loves your parrot mix hand bagged food. His colors are just beautiful!

What a great place for birds and potential owners. We stoped by 1 day just to look and I was very impressed as to how clean and well kept the birds were. They were in the process hand feeding a White Bellied Ciaque which my wife fell in love with, needless to say we purchased it after only 1 visit. We live more than 250 miles away from the Bird Hut so we called often to check on our little gem. Brian and Diane were always very helpful and ready to give us any info way needed. We picked up our little Sweetpea on 6/18/12 and he is just beautiful, healthy, and well loved. If you are looking for a bird to have as a pet check these folks out first you won't be sorry. Thank you Brian and Diane for our bird. WELL DONE.

I inherited a bird when my girlfriend bailed on me. I didn't know the first thing about bird care and the little parakeet was too small to eat so I started taking care of it with the help of Bird Hut. They were so good at helping me take care of my little feathered friend that I wanted to give them a shout out.

I think the Portland Bird Hut is a must if you have an avery. They have a wide variety of birds, bird cages, and most everything else you need.

They have as many nice birds as anybody I've seen and the owners (and the help) are great! When you walk in, the room to the left has at least 10 birds playing on wonderful hanging toys every time I have been in. Also if you are looking for a cage, make sure to tell someone they keep them in a separate building in the back - it's huge and full, with very good prices. This place is a treasure. Also, if you are looking for a particular bird give them a call - I have seen African Greys, Macaws, Cockatoos, Amazons, Conures, and more every time I have been in.

Fun store for birds and bird supplies. Tons of toys and parts to build your own toys. Friendly staff.
