Bluebird has handled my moving and storage needs for three years. They have done so with no breakage, no loss, reasonable costs and timely service. They are terrific!

I was nervous about moving after 30 years in the same house, because I have lots of antiques and a lot of glass. However when Wade McLaren arrived at my home to do the survey prior to my move, he put my mind at ease almost immediately. Then, once they had my move scheduled they didn't forget about me. My customer service rep, Michelle, was helpful every time I called, and I called a lot! And then, the move itself was flawless! The crew I had was careful and worked as quickly as they could. I was so impressed, that even though I hope never to move again, if I do, it will definitely be with Blue Bird. It's nice to work with a company that still puts customer service first!

Our move was completed in May by three men and two trucks provided by Blue Bird. We had two folks in the community and our friends tell us to check out Blue Bird. We ended up talking to three moving firms. This one educated us, had someone come out and discuss the moving details and then made the move for us on the promised date. Since they had a connection to reputable van line, we felt confident that we would get what we were shopping for. They were more expensive on paper, but they offered us a great experience - worth the final costs. After all you hear in the media today, moving can be scary. We are glad that we selected this firm for our local move.

This was the best move we have had. Our moving team was great, the customer service was great, the salesman was great. For a large local move, spending $4,000. plus we feel that we got more than the money we spent. My wife and me recommend using this firm.

In all the domestic and international moves that I have done, I have never see more incompetence than that exhibited by Blue Bird Transfer when they moved my household goods across town in November 2009.It was like being moved by the three stooges. Here are some examples:- Estimated move time was 5 hours. Actual move time - 11 hours- Movers had no concept of geometry and damaged walls and woodwork- One of the three movers spent more time texting his friends than working- Computer printer not packed or wrapped, just carried loose (and damaged)- Truck broke down (dirver's girlfriend came to fix it)- Final box moved-in at 1:00AM (new neighbors were not amused)- Invoiced for full 11 hours including overtimeThinking about hiring Blue Bird? Don't!

Our move from California to Portland was quite large. We were moving from a 2700 square foot home into a 3000 square foot home and over the years we collected too many things - and we shipped two autos. I am of an age that I should not be physically trying these moves on my own, so we shopped a few movers. We found Blue Bird at the Portland end (referred by our Realtor) which was an exceptional find. When when called them, we actually spoke to someone on the telephone, each of the other movers had electornic message systems. Not enough good things are said about service companies. These guys were great! Four movers came and packed our house into cartons, then three guys came to move all of our stuff into the truck - including the cars. I can't believe how much they can put into a moving truck. We had Blue Bird unpack us in Portland.
