Provided by YP.comWes, When you called the other day and inquired about machine work there was A lot of background noise so it was hard to hear you,. I thought you had asked about boring for an Indian ( Indian Motorcycle ) So i asked you to hold so i could get to the office to hear you better and by then you had already hung up.

Provided by YP.comI am a second generation of CCH loyal customers. My dad & I have used Jerry & company for 30+ years and have had nothing but great experiences. They have done engines, iron & aluminum heads, & diesel heads and never had an issue. Dad was a mechanic & I raced. I raced the same engine for 5 years and never an issue. We ran a 289 12 sec. flat with a T-10 4 spd & still couldn't hurt the engine. Jerry always knew what's going on with any of my jobs. Open Saturday makes it very convenient also.

Provided by YP.comI had Central Cylinder Head Inc. do some machine work on my SBC 400 motor. The block was prepped as per other machine shops I've dealt with, but several of the plugs that were removed for/or during the hot tank process were never replaced. That was a small problem compared to the fact I brought 2 brand new Trick Flow aluminum cylinder heads to have the steam holes drilled to match my 400 block and CCH butchered the heads. Trusting CCH I assembled the engine with heads and installed the engine in my Chevelle, but during the radiator fill portion of the install I noticed water shooting out of one of the exhaust ports. After removing the heads I noticed one of the steams holes was drilled straight thru to the exhaust port and one of the steam holes had a broken drill bit in it. CCH offered to repair the head, but at that point I wouldn’t let CCH work on my lawnmower. It took legal action to get CCH to buy me a new Trick Flow head, but in hind sight I should have gotten both heads replaced. The steam holes were then drilled correctly at a competent machine shop. Good luck in dealing with CCH.
Charlie, yes i remember that job back in 2003 where we misdrilled a hole in one of your heads. As you can recall i was more than happy to buy you a new casting & refunded your money. I can honestly say i DO NOT recall you bringing your cylinder block for machine work. As per back then all i can still say is that we are sorry!
