The Office of City Attorney works under the government of the city of Portland, Ore. It provides legal services to the city council, city bureaus, boards, commissions, agencies, and individual city employees. The office's legal services include representing the city in a variety of areas, including tort and discrimination lawsuits, workers' compensation and personnel actions, other labor matters, land use and planning appeals, public records matters and code enforcement.
