Year after year, the last week of March, I receive a call from my personal florist, City Florist, usually Linda. I live in California, my mother-in-law lives in Utah but drives each year to Portland to visit her sister to celebrate their birthdays together. I found City Florist in the phone book several years ago and told them I had two fun-loving "purple hat society aged" ladies celebrating their birthdays. I wanted to put together a gift basket they could share. So, they put together a big basket with two of everything. It was a big hit and I end up on the phone with the two of them laughing away as they tell me all the cool stuff they received. We've done beach bags, scarves, candles, body lotions, perfumes, purses, watches, etc. etc. etc. My husband used to remind me each year, "Honey, don't forget, it's my mom's birthday on the 29th", but his memory is now shot! Thank God I have my personal florist, City Florist, who each year calls me 10 days out and reminds me of my mother-in-laws birthday and we go through the possibilities. Each year, they allow me to brighten up the lives of two very special people. My basket is so popular now, the entire family looks forward to them opening their goodies. I was just looking up their telephone number at yellowpages.com when I saw that I could put a review in. I only wish I would have known years ago. I would have put my first review in and then reported each year after. So, here we go, 3/26/09. Katie, H.B. California
