Provided by YP.comOn May 12, 2017, Patient was released by OHSU to go to a rehab facility. He was notified of this by the attending physician before lunch time. Transport company "Community Ambulance" was notified by OHSU at about 1:00PM that the patient needed transport from OHSU to
Rehab
They were also informed at that time that the patient needed a heavy duty gurney. Community Ambulance gave OHSU a time that they would be able to pick the patient, 4:00 PM the same day. They did not meet their obligation. They finally arrived at 5:40 PM leaving the patient to wait for Community Ambulance convenience. This is not a rare occasion with this company and this company seems to not have any care for customer service or care.

The other post here is obviously a disgruntled employee by the way it is written. Community Ambulance is the only ambulance company in the Portland Metropolitan area that specializes in non-911 calls, having non-emergent ambulance needs as their prime concern, instead of being focused on calls requiring lights and sirens. I have used this company for family members and found them skilled and professional in every aspect, and I recommend them without hesitation.

I wouldn't let this company transport a dead dog. The owner is one of the rudest people I have ever come in contact with and has no compassion for her fellow man. The equipment is antique and hardly working. The employees are extraordinary and try their best but the owner micromanages everything.
