Four and half years later, after a long search for the perfect location, lots of market research, months of work on a business plan, and lots of sleepless nights, they opened Cupcake Jones on July 11, 2007. The fulfillment of Lisa's lifelong dream of owning her own business, Cupcake Jones is the namesake of her father, Robert Jones Watson. It is also a play on the popular slang term jonesin or having a jones , meaning something you really CRAVE! Lisa and Peter are working hard with their team of incredibly talented and creative bakers and the most fun & upbeat counter staff you can imagine, to bring you the finest in service and quality found anywhere. Lisa and Peter are committed to giving back to their community through weekly donations to Blanchet House, a local service agency that provides housing, meals, jobs, and aid to the homeless and others in need.
