Had my 20v VW head rebuilt. Price was good and work looked good. They forgot to put a oil galley plug back in so it spewed oil everywhere when I started the engine. They didn't tell me they hadn't installed the cam seals (I probably would have noticed if I was a prof. mechanic) Oil spewed on new timing belt. Then got car running and discovered the cam timing was off so car idled rough. Luckily not off enough to bend more valves!. I bought parts required to fix it myself (new belt, timing tensioner w/tool) and they reimbursed most of the cost though it took well over a month to get my check. It was a nightmare but they're probably good on standard American heads.?.?.

I have never been lied to as much as Greg Mahoney, the owner, lied to me about everything. I received a BAD 1st engine and it took 3 months to receive core deposit and 5 months for the $250 warranty issue to be taken care of.

WORST shop I have ever dealt with. AVOID at all costs!
