While most places are more worried about being cool...this place worries about being good. You will never have an employee roll their eyes at you because you ask for a record that the do not deem "hip". They always give a fair price for your used stuff and have a selection that cannot be beat. Why go anywhere else?

These guys have a really good selection, not only of rock and pop, but also jazz and alternative styles. You are sure to find many steals on cheap music in your search.

This huge, sprawling store has a massive array of used music and movies: CDs, vinyl, cassette tapes, DVDs, and videotapes. They'll buy nearly anything, so wandering through the bins can yield all kinds of surprising things. The prices are pretty reasonable, usually around half of cover price. They also sell "skufs" which are slightly damaged but still functional discs at a steep discount. The selection is limited to whatever people are selling, so no guarantee of finding any particular thing. But there's so much stuff in every imaginable music genre, you probably can find a lot of stuff you'd like to have -- used -- at a pretty reasonable price.
