My boyfriend sent me a bouquet of cut flowers from Gifford's Flowers that blew me away. I love flowers and am often disappointed with the selection of flowers available from most florists. Not this time. My bouquet had an amazing selection of orchids and my favorite flowers from the garden. I also loved the way they wrapped the flowers in colored paper.

I have been using this florist for many, many, many years. I have used this florist since they were Gifford & Doving. This florist has been with me through weddings, friend's weddings, funerals, anniversaries, birthdays, a friend’s divorce (which was a good thing!) and "just because" occasions. I find the finished product to always be AMAZING. When I was on a tight budget just after college, I would find fresh cut flowers a necessity to lift my spirits. I purchased fresh cut flowers from other florists, only to find I would have to buy flowers more often. Then I happened on Gifford (& Doving at the time). Although the prices were a little higher than what I had been paying, the flowers were far more superior, they smelled and looked brighter and fresher, and they lasted 6+ days longer. In the long run, I always receive a better product, that last longer than the competitor, that is put together in just the perfect venue for the occasion.

I ordered flowers for a friend's birthday recently and was very pleased with the quality of flowers delivered. The person who helped me on the phone was helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend Gifford's if you need a florist in Portland.

This is a really nice little flower shop. I went in to get something special for my boyfriend because I felt he needed the boost one get's when receiving flowers. I don't have a lot of experience ordering flowers but the women there were so helpful and friendly and made the whole process so easy. They delivered the arrangement that afternoon and my boyfriend was so surprised! He'd never received flowers before. He was so sweet...he said it was a bit embarassing getting them at work but he couldn't stop smiling about them! He brought the arrangement home and whoever designed it did a really great job. I'll definitely be using Gifford's again.
