Booked our reservation online from OK for our trip to Oregon coast. Chose offsite airport location in Portland to save money. As soon as we landed, I have a voicemail saying there are no vehicles available at the Pine location. Called the location and the manager said nothing he can do, didn't offer to call or check any other locations, and didn't seem to care. He literally told my wife (she called them after I told her the news), "I just can't make a car appear". The airport couldn't (or wouldn't) match the price, and their quote was over $650 higher. Thankfully Enterprise was much more helpful and we were able to resume our trip.

I have written twice to Hertz customer service, and it's now going on 2 months, and NO response whatsoever. Totally unacceptable. We HAD a reservation. G9573226753 is our number, just so there is no mistake that we are trying to make this up.

I will NEVER Use Hertz again. The manager at this location is terrible. You have been warned.
