Provided by YP.comI used Master Movers a couple of weeks ago for my move from Beaverton to Vancouver. The team was caught up in heavy traffic but they didn't charge me extra travel time which was nice of them. The guys were friendly, fast and efficient and made my move go smoothly. My husband has used this company several times in the past and highly recommends them and now so do I. Their rates are very good and they seem to be focused on customer satisfaction zooming through their task despite being paid by the hour. I would thoroughly recommend this company and would always make them my number one choice for future moves.

Provided by YP.comMaser Movers did an amazing job for us. The weather was almost 90 degrees and we had to stop them to take breaks. They arrived on time, were professional, friendly, and did above and beyond to help us with our move. I have used them for all of my moves since the early 2000's and highly recommend them to all!

Provided by YP.comMaster Movers did an awesome job with our in-town Portland move. Everything from setting up the move (on relatively short notice) to actually getting our stuff out of our old house and into our new apartment was handled with speed and humor. I would recommend them to anyone.

Provided by YPmobileI bought a Liberty gun safe and got a great deal, but with all good things that are to good to be true there was a problem. As it turns out my new 1000lb safe was up two flights of stairs!! So I called the great people at Master Movers portland told them my problem. Within Minutes there were two guys there to move my safe, they had it down and out without any damage. This was the best experience I ever had with any company. It cost me less then getting some buddy's , beer and gas. I highly recommend them if you need something moved give them a call.

Provided by YP.comMaster Movers were great! They were friendly, professional and got the job done within budget. I would definitely use them if I ever move again. There was nothing they would not do to make this move smooth and stress free. I am extremely grateful to have found them.

Provided by YP.comThese guys were hired while I was out of town to help my fiance move a few large items to our new apartment. Seemed easy enough as they only had to move about a quarter of a mile. When they got there they asked my fiance about my 50 inch plasma tv and she told them that it wasn't one of the things needing to be moved as I was going to do that when I got back in a few days. They assured her that it wouldn't be a problem even though there was no box because they "do this all the time". The mover (Johnnie was his name) was very persuasive and my fiance relented. After everything was set up in the new apartment and they had left my fiance noticed a giant crack running through the middle of the tv screen and another smaller crack on the side. The movers hadn't said a word, they just set it down and took off. When she saw the damage she called the main office to let them know. Imagine her shock when about 10 minutes later, Johnnie calls her on her phone berating her for "throwing him under the bus". When I found out about this I called the office to complain myself. The manager on duty was understandably concerned and assured us his employee would not contact us further. We were sent a copy of this company's claim form and filled it out promptly. A couple of weeks later I get a check for $53! $53 for a 50 inch plasma tv! I called back to see if this was a joke and if we could try to resolve this without legal action. The office manager tried to appeal to both owners to no avail. They said they only pay out by the pound and based on what my tv weighed, this was the amount they were offering. I guess it's on to small claims court from here. Do not trust these people to move your things - I would not even trust them with my address or phone number as they will call and harass you if they find out you've complained.
I'm sorry to hear of your experience with our company we stride to do our best for every customer as though you are family. the tv movement is heresay between your comments and my drivers comments. A specialty plasma tv carton was onboard the truck when it left that morning and returned that afternoon as i witnessed its whereabouts. The tv cartons cost us $75.00 each and according to our oregon tarriff we can only charge $35.00 per use. Your fiance did not want to pay for the tv carton so the crew took it on there own behalf to be kind and save her some money. If she did not want it moved, she could of stopped them. Valuation is the term used nationwide by household goods movers for "insurance" your fiance choose the bare minimum at .60cents per pound that is the free valuation, that is what was paid out to you. Full coverage would be charged out at .85cents per hundred dollars value based on the entire load. IE. if the truck blew up after it was loaded and your total weight on board was 3000 pounds, you would of received a check for $1800.00 total. No matter what the contents or value was. If you placed a value of $25,000 on your load the charges would have been $212.50 and you would be watching a brand new plasma tv. Maximum payout if the truck and contents were destroyed would have been $25,000 and no more. The pamplet that the Oregon dept of transportation requires us to give all customers called the TR-37 was signed for on the bottom of the bill of lading by your fiance, which explains all of your rights and responsibilities in a Oregon to Oregon based move. I am sorry about your tv and that the driver called you back. The driver received a displinary mark in his record, not only for arguing back but for even touching the tv without proper packing materials for safe transportation.

Provided by YP.comI have used Master Movers 3 times in just the last year! Every time I call them, they inform me on everything I need to know. They are always on time, and always stay focused on safety, and getting he job done as quickly and carefully as possible!
My end bill is always less then I would expect for the professionalism that I receive!
I would recommend Master Movers to anyone moving.

Provided by YP.comMaster Movers were great. I had to schedule and then postpone and the reschedule and their front office was also cordial and accommodating. The crew showed up on time and did a great job. Worthy of the tip as well.

Provided by YP.comGo with a different company and pay a little more for a better service and care. These guys are all about getting your business, but are just careless are caused over $400 damage on items. They then paid pennies on the claim! Horrible - Horrible Customer Service and lack of professionalism.
These people had three choices of valuation. They chose minimum coverage. They are not happy with their own choice. This is not a customer service issue, the company paid out on every item they claimed at the legal liability they chose.
