The crew showed up a week and a half ago on Thursday as planned, 7:30am - 3 guys took down a 70' pine tree - The rose bushes just 7' away were undamaged. They roped down the limbs, cut them up. Professionals all. The property was cleaned up, front and back prior to leaving.



The very next day the gentleman was there to grind that stump and one other from a previous take down. His work was also superb and clean.



Lark and I appreciated everything you did.

Wow!! I called Jonathan for a "second opinion" on one tree in particular and a couple of other "co-dominant" fir trees. These trees are a hundred years old and the thought of having to take them down was really not something I wanted to do.



He told me the same thing the first arborist said, the one tree was rotted out from ants and the two co-dominants were hazards as well and should come down. There were also a couple of approximately 80 foot tall cottonwoods that I wanted to get rid of. His estimate was considerably less than the other company I had called. I asked about another group of small cottonwoods and a few other trees on the property that had "widow makers" (dead branches) hanging over the driveway. He said it would not be a bad idea to clean those up as well. The total estimate was still lower than the first estimate!!



To give you a better idea of what I am talking about, the ant infested fir tree was 36" diameter on the base. When his crew got done, I measured the rotted out center at 23" - that doesn't leave much support for a tree that was about 95' tall.



They worked very well with the neighbor (the tree was a few feet from the property line) and finally - they cleaned up really nicely!

Jon and his crew did an excellent job in removing three large trees in a narrow space between two homes. They were professional and safe during the time they took to remove the trees. They left the job site clean.

I would recommend Northwest Arbor-Culture to anyone who is looking for an outstanding and professional job in the removal of their trees.
