My fiancé and I are the lucky new owners of a 37’ Carver and it has been a dream come true! Buzz, the owner, and his family have worked really hard for us and it has been an awesome experience. He was always very honest and fair. From the day we first saw the boat through our first overnight with it, he has been just a phone call or text away for any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend if you’re in the market for a new boat to become part of the Northwest Boat Center Family!

**BUYERS BEWARE**

My Husband and I had been looking to upgrade to a larger boat for sometime, We knew that the Portland Boat Show was happening the weekend of Jan 13th-15th, we knew this was a great time to look for a boat. We answered a craigslist ad posted by NWBC for a 2008 Bluewater Escape. I received a e-mail back from a salesman,, we will call him "JOHN" stating that if we were interested in this particular boat that it was priced below bluebook and we would need to act fast!

Well we did act fast.. We arranged to meet JOHN the very next morning January 15th. @ 10:00 am. we drove to portland and...

Upon deciding that in fact this was the perfect boat for our family, WE WROTE THE NWBC A CHECK FOR $13,999.00 , signed a sales receipt stating as much and left to drive back to Eugene with the mutual understanding that we would pick the boat up the following Saturday @ 10:00a.m.. Simple Right? .....NO.....

OnTuesday morning I received a call from JOHN stating that the boat had not been properly winterized and needed some repair, he then asked if that was ok as it would push our pick up date back 2 weeks. I agreed to the repairs after talking to my husband but stated that I wanted confirmation of our conversation in an email, JOHN stated that was not a problem he would get that right to me Wednesday morning January 198h, 2012. NO email NO call.... Until 4;41 that afternoon ...

The email read:

Bad news! My customer decided not to participate in the engine fix. I lost the trade and the deal is off!

John

WAIT.. You advertised and SOLD a boat that was not legally yours...

the same boat that remains advertised on your website as SOLD...

and is priced for a thousand dollars more...you won't return my calls or e-mails, YOU STILL HAVE OUR CHECK...

PLEASE.. Find a reputable boat dealer... I wish we had!
