I had gone to several vets before coming to Southgate - and my pets have now been steady patients here for years. We wouldn't go anywhere else. They (vets, assistants, and all staff) are wonderful, caring people. No question at all that they love animals. Try Southgate Animal Clinic - I doubt you'll ever go anywhere else again!

I have had several dogs fixed and the spay on my big dog was amazing. The last time I had a female dog fixed her stomach looked like Frankenstein-but the work Southgate did was wonderful. I could tell the doctor really cared about her work and about the dogs health and appearance of her work-A++++++++++++ keep it up!

pets are well taken care of and prices are reasonable

Have been going to this vet clinic for YEARS! I love them all...very caring. I trust my vet completely (Dr. Stricker)...My dogs ALWAYS go to her...only complaint I have is that her hours are small (I can't imagine why she wants to have a life outside of being a vet :+>). I would follow her anywhere (well, at least if she stayed in the Portland area). The other docs are good to, the vet assistants are very caring as well....they obviously love animals (which is good).######If you have to find a vet in the SE/Milwaukie area....I definately suggest you give Southgate a try...I am happy I did so many years ago.

I have found this wonderful place to take my animals. The whole staff is courteous and caring and I have never been in doubt that these are the people I want taking care of them.

I have been going to this animal clinic for years. I have heard horror stories about many others and count my blessings that I have a wonderful caring vet and staff at this clinic. I trust my dogs (and cats) to these people, and especially to Dr. Ricker (my personal favorite)...They are caring and understand the love people have for their animals. The charges are reasonable, the hours are flexible (to fit peoples schedules) and the service great. You can't go wrong with this clinic.
