We are so lucky to have an event like this here in Portland. Portland and the people who live here are truly worth celebrating! This event is worthy of its new award winning title!

From amazing parades - 3 in all.......to the family orientated Water Front Village......a must for everyone!!!!!

The First 100 years was well done by the Portland Rose Festival. The parade was outstanding and I loved the Ball and every activity. I am so proud of the marvelous staff who works so hard to make our city be outstanding with wonderful events for everyone. Keep it up for another 100 years.

They have the best parade in the country###My kids had a wonderful time at the Waterfront Village###I was surprised at the many kids activities at the Waterfron Village###The Village was noticnely clean.###Great event

A Century of Celebration was worth waiting 100 years for! Wow! What a festival, and what a parade! No wonder the International Festivals & Events Association just named the Rose Festival the Best Event in the World for 2007.

The Portland Rose Festival was named the BEST festival in the WORLD for 2007 by IFEA -- and the Grand Floral Parade was named one of the TOP FOUR parades in the nation by USA Today!######At 100 years young and counting, there's something for EVERYONE at the Portland Rose Festival.######A blast and a half!

The Portland Rose Festival was awarded the top honor at the 2007 International Festival and Events Association in September! ###Our hometown celebration took home THIRTY Pinnacle awards including the Grand Pinnacle Gold for Best Festival in the World in it's budget category!!! ###Oh yeah, and just for a point of reference... Pasadena Tournament of Roses took home Two Pinnacle awards. How do you like them Roses!

It's so much fun! The parade and Waterfron Village are a blast!

June is my favorite time of year, I love it when this festival is in full bloom!

The Portland Rose Festival was an unforgettable experience! It seems to get better and better with each year! The Centennial Celebration this year was absolutely the best. My family and I had a great time at the Rose Cup Races out at PIR, as well as at Waterfront Village during some perfect early summer weather. And despite the rainfall during the Grand Floral Parade, it was still perfect. Our "liquid sunshine" adds a distinctly Portland touch to the local favorite. I highly recommend this Festival to visitors and residents alike!

Well they did win that award from IFEA, but if you go to the events you will certainly see why. It's a beloved event and I have certainly enjoyed every bit of it from when I marched in the Starlight Parade in high School to now. It has a little something for everyone.
