Portland Waldorf School serves more than 350 students in grades one through eight. It is accredited by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America and is approved by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. The school provides early childhood programs. Its facility includes a gymnasium, play fields, and handwork and eurhythmy rooms. The school offers a variety of extracurricular programs in ceramics, handwork, string instruments, band, choir, creative writing, folk dancing and eurhythmy. The school also offers several sports activities, such as golf, volleyball basketball, and track and field. In addition, it provides foreign language courses in German and Spanish.
