Couldn't help but write a response to "missbmclain" - I'm not sure what your exact situation was, but I can't think of any circumstance in which we would tell someone they have to draw their own tattoo. Everyone here is a very accomplished artist; most of us have degrees in the arts, actually. Perhaps you brought in a blurry picture and were unable to articulate exactly what it was supposed to be? Not sure. But we would never tell someone that we can't draw their tattoo, because that would be utter nonsense. And as far as our prices, most reputable shops in the Portland area charge at least 150 hourly, so my apologies if our 120 hourly rate is too much for you. You're more than welcome to price-hunt for your tattoo artist, but I really wouldn't recommend it. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for. Hopefully one day you'll give us the chance to make it up to you and show you the quality that we put out. Otherwise, good luck in your search.

I went in the with a ruff picture of what I wanted. Told I was going to have to draw out my own tattoo cuz it was not clear enough for them. I thought that was being part of being a tattoo artist but I was wrong. They acted like I knew nothing about tattoos. Funny thing is, is I have 5, none can be seen. I know what I wanted should be about $70, they wanted $120 or more for flat color. I got better deals in hawaii.

I went there for my second tattoo, I was nervous for lots of reasons one being I hate needles lol. They where very professional, chatted with me the whole time I was very relaxed and before I knew it three and a half hours had passed and it was done! It turned out even more amazing than I could have hoped when I walked in that day. I would highly recommend them to anyone who was to ask. I recommend them to all my friends and family! Thanks to everyone at Pussycat Tattoo for making it such an amazing experience!!!

Saad turned a very poorly done tattoo on my foot into something beautiful that I can be proud of. I just wish that I lived closer. I would definately go back.

Excellent place to go. Very clean and with all the artists there, the vibe was easy. Based on two recommendations from co-workers who had went to Gene and Erick, I went in armed with my idea on paper and left with an appointment set. Erick was laid back and completely destroyed all the anxiety I built up. This tat is significantly bigger (shoulder blade) and more colorful than what I planned. Honestly, I couldn+t be more happier with the result. I `m a baby when it comes to pain, and this barely registered on the scale. I plan to go back have the old one +remodeled+. If you have read this much of my review and have any common sense, disregard any of the generalized reviews left by +supposedly unhappy+ people. It+s a waste of your time and won+t provide you anything but a taste of someone+s highly unprofessional bitterness. I strongly believe in the review forum and hate when it+s abused.

Erick did a wonderful job on my Tattoo! I love it and I love PUSSYCAT TATTOO!!!###The atmosphere is very clean and inviting, and the people are FRIENDLY, which I can not say for all places!
