Provided by YP.comWe made a reservation for a taxi two weeks prior to the event. We recently stayed at the Portland White house B & B. We were attending the Garth Brooks concert. We had reserved the taxi for 6:30p.m. pick up from the B&B. At 6:45p.m. I called to see where they were. The dispatcher said that the "reservation" was not a fore sure time they were going to be there, really? We ended up driving our own car to the concert. We received a call from the Taxi driver that he was at the B&B at 7:30p.m (when the concert was due to start)!
Not a very reliable company!

Provided by YP.comI was picked up by cab 124 and when I opened the door I found the floors flooded with dirty water puddles, tree debris everywhere inside, soaked seats and water drops on the doors, windows, seat backs, etc... only when pressed did the drivers wife get paper towels and soak up the standing water. As confirmed by the driver he left all the windows open during a rain storm the previous day and I was his first ride since the showers the day before and discovering his cars condition this morning. At first the drive was affable talking about grammar and teaching standards and then when it turned to politics I was verbally assaulted for being a Democrat. I was called stupid, ignorant, uneducated and was told they both held Masters degrees and they therefore were more informed. I stated I was happy to have a political discourse with them but would not be ridiculed in the process. I stated I was not attacking them and would appreciate not being attacked. I was then told I must be a California uneducated Democrat. I mentioned I was native and that was irrelevant to anything. Then I was told they were 3rd generation Oregonians and therefore they were in a position to judge my ignorance (I’m 4th generation and it is still irrelevant). Finally, after being screamed at almost the whole ride and it escalating by them I left the cab before my destination to escape the abuse. He got out and screamed at me and then got back in the car and followed me for a great distance. I am very scared by the escalation, confrontation and would like to warn others to avoid this cab driver.

Provided by YPmobileWe scheduled a pick up, two weeks in advance. The taxi was scheduled for 6:30 pm to take us to the Garth Brooks concert, since we are out of towners. And didn't want to drive our car. 6:45 pm I called radio cab. They said the reservation was not a guarantee time (REALLY??). At 7:15 pm we decided to drive our car. We got a call from the driver at 7:35 pm saying he was at the pick up address. We didn't go back to have him take us to the show. We ended up missing the first twenty minutes of the concert. We had to park 10 block's away!

Provided by YPmobileIf I could give this a 1/2 star I would. And that would only be because they answer the phone. Good customer service is letting you customer know you can't make it to your location in a reasonable time frame. Two an a half hours is not reasonable and neither is after two and a half hours, telling the customer you picked up the wrong person. Especially when you're the only one standing there. I will "NEVER", "EVER" use radio cab again, unless they can begin to value their customers enough to say, "I'm sorry we aren't in the area." Maybe even going the extra mile and saying, "may I suggest calling Broadway cab they may have someone in your area." Believe me that would be excellent service and people would remember you will be there if you can. This has been an ongoing problem in S.E. Portland and most people just don't call because you're known for bad service. A company that does not value their customers, has no value. D'B Forrest

Provided by YP.comI had an early morning flight, so I called the Radio Cab Company on the high recommendation of my Hotel. The driver was prompt, courteous, and above all, honest. I left a small article in the cab, which he turned in to the lost-and-found at the cab company office. I spoke with Steve Fish who verified the article and then sent it to me. If you need transportation in the Portland area, call these guys, they're the BEST!

Provided by YP.comI've read some of these reviews and it looks to me like a few of the 1-2 star ones are from disgruntled x-drivers. Anyway, I have taken Radio Cab for a number of years. They have always been courteous and gone out of their way to help me in any way necessary.
Sometimes I need a cab to go pick up my teenage grandchild, and I wouldn't think of calling any company but Radio Cab. I feel confident she will be safe and get where she needs to go.
Thank you and keep up the good work Radio. There are always a couple of rotten apples in the cart, but with the vast number of drivers a large cab company has, you are bound to have a not so wonderful experience at least once.

Provided by YP.comThe driver we had was very nice and helpful. She helped us load up carseats, and was very attentive. The only problem I had was when we paid. They pinged our account twice for the ride, which can be quite troublesome. I like the service but just don't use your card to pay for the cab.

Provided by YP.comAbout a month ago, I found myself stranded outside of a max station, in the rain, waiting for it to come. It never did. So, naturally, considering I had to be somewhere, I walked up to a local restaurant and called a cab. The radio cab dispatcher told me it wouldn't be any longer than a 10-15 minute wait. 30 minutes went by, so I called them back. The dispatcher told me the driver got caught up and it would be another 10 minutes or so. 40 more minutes went past. I called the cab company back. The dispatcher picked up the phone and very rudely told me that I cant rely on a cab company to come all the way out to gresham when they are based in portland and that the driver denied the pick up. I asked him why he couldnt have called and told me that the driver wasnt going to be there?!? I could have called a different cab company a long time ago! he told me "good luck on getting any one out there, no one is going to pick you up". I called the green cab company.. they told me it would be 15 minutes and guess what?!?! they were there in 10. I would NOT recommend radio cab. I have had bad experiences with them in the past.
