We have been coming to The Takahashi for years. We love the food and staff are wonderful. We bring cards - hot food is usually pretty quick, but if it is busy the sushi may take awhile, but so worth it!

I love coming here for a full Japanese dinner. Make your own combination of 2 or 3 entrees and they bring you side dishes of vegetable stew, marinated cucumbers, miso soup and rice. They also have a full sushi bar

Takahashi has great sushi, and a fun train to keep you occupied while you wait. Lots of variety, great atmosphere and terrific sushi.

This is one of those places you don't go to if you're on a tight schedule. However, if you want the best Japanese cuisine in Portand, this is the place to go. The prices are great. Especially on Wednesday evenings when you can get sushi for 40%off.

The food is great, order by the piece sushi and tempura. Great discounts on Wednesday. However, the service was a little slow, but worth the wait!
